Busy day in the garden...............

Have had a very busy day in the garden. tidying over,  weeding and moving things from here to there........

I cleared a bed and then planted some lovelies which I hope will be blooming next year!

My wind chimes are chiming like crazy as the wind is certainly here!

The tubs of begonias and petunias are doing what they should be doing!

and Charlie and Mittens look exhausted by it all!

But, it's not them who should be napping it is me!!!
I'm a wreck!

What a beautiful garden!! And yes, they take a lot of time and energy to keep up but it's always worth it, isn't it? Hope you manage to find some time to sit back and relax to enjoy your labours!

Looks great. I'm a black thumb so I love everyone else's garden from afar. It is tiring to watch some one garden. I can understand the dog and cat napping!!!! haha.

It's almost six years since Malcolm took early retirement ..... and took over gardening duties - so all I have to do now is admire the garden and take photos!!

Your Hydrangea is lovely and I do love those blue geranium. I find that I am loving being in the garden more and more these days, but it can be tiring work! Have a day off! Love Linda x

Ha! I have a "Charlie" too! Everything is just so very pretty in your landscape - thanks so much for sharing at Fishtail Cottages Garden party! Be careful of those hardy geraniums...they choked out a whole area of my garden & so last fall i had to remove them from my garden all together....but i think it depends on where you live? (i'm in Washington State) Hoping you have better luck than i did w/those - they are so pretty!

Your garden is beautiful, it certainly looks like all your hard work has paid off. Charlie and Mittens are doing the same thing my garden "helpers" usually do.
