Well hello my lovelies
and how are you all today?

I hope that you all had  a nice Valentine's Day yesterday.

It has been wet wet wet here

I could turn into a very lazy lady lolling around
but
I put on the wellies and braved the weather each day just to get a bit of air
and to shift all those biscuits I have been munching on while indoors (oh dearie me)!

It was damp and dismal but with the rain comes the  lovely green

and even though I love walking and fresh air
sometimes it is just nice to relax, drink tea and take a breather
heaven

and while it's cold and windy outside
it's warm and cosy inside
I have been doing a little reading...
this lovely book by our own Maeve Binchy
it is a nice easy read
I will miss Maeve and her writing...
RIP Maeve

Have you read anything good lately,
I'm always looking for recommendations...

Bargain of the week

Are any of you familiar with the Tangle Teezer
if like me when you wash your hair and it is impossible to get a  brush through it
well this is your answer
it takes tangles out of wet hair in an instant - fantastic!
Well I bought a Denman Tangle Teezer  in the chemist and it was €15.99
but it did the trick and I thought it was value for money
until
I tried the Penney's version  at €1.50
does it work
Y E S   YES   YES
fantastic little product and €14.50 cheaper
buy one quick before they disappear!

I'm off now to put on the kettle for a cuppa
have a lovely week all of you
I hope to visit you all over the next few days
toodle oodle till next time...

Well it's Friday and so it's

{Green Day 32}

Thank you to all who participate I hope that you enjoy it as much as I do

  4. Good Morning Fiona, How could we not smile at your wellies....they "scream" Spring.
You mentioned recommending a book to read, one I enjoyed recently was The Persian Pickle Club by Sandra Dallas. The book is based in the 1930's in Kansas. A group of women form a club called the Persian Pickle Club, they chat and work on their quilts....of course there is a murder. I enjoyed it, but I always worry about recommending a book....but I think you will enjoy this one.
    Have a lovely weekend.
    Best Wishes
    Daphne

I need the detangler! My hair sometimes is so tangled, I guess it's the length. I'll have to check at Pennys.
Hope you enjoyed your Valentine's Day!

  19. I love the boots, Fiona! They would cheer up any rainy walk.

I'm hard pressed to find any green outdoors here; winter is still visiting and will be doing so for quite some time. Just as well, I'm not prepared to face the weeds in the garden just yet.

Have a wonderful weekend; I see you're knitting a little something!
