Some Pretty things I saw today..............

A lovely rose deciding to open out fully in the garden this morning.
It looks and smells lovely.

Also was cleaning (as I do now and again!) and came across my Mother's china.
It was given to her and my dad as a wedding present over 50 years ago.
The complete set is still intact and looks so pretty,
far nicer than the big earthenware mugs we use today
although I suppose with these delicate cups you would need about 4 refills!

I am joining up with Rose Chintz Cottage
Sweetology and also Lady Katherine's Tea Parlor for Tea Time Tuesday,  and also it is my first time joining up with them so hopefully I will do it right!

I  have seen lots of lovely china and tea realated lovelies there.

What a beautiful china set! I have a good friend of mine who only uses china cups (she buys the most beautiful ones from charity shops) They are gorgeous to use, but I'm a big tea drinker, so, yes, need a refill every few minutes!! How lovely that you have a full set X

Hello,
they do look truly beautiful. I love rose design on everything. What a lovely idea of your Father to gift china with red roses to his bride. Really romantic. Thank you for sharing.
Best greetings, Johanna
