Went for a walk today..........

to Saint Fiachra's Garden.

It is such a magnificent place and within walking distance of my house which is such a huge bonus!
The weather was good, the sun was shining and the Gardens were not too crowded by visitors (which is unusual for weekends as they come from far and wide).

Had a lovely stroll around in the sunshine and just relaxed and enjoyed.   I stopped at the water and just reflected on life, which is what these gardens are all about.

St. Fiachra is the patron saint of Gardening - I am hoping that he will inspire me!!

I had a lovely afternoon - so peaceful and tranquil. - heaven.

What beautiful gardens that I just discovered from a visit you made there last year! I love the statue on the water's edge and that last shot of the water with the sloping grass just in front is gorgeous. It makes me want to be there! I love the green of nature!
