Sunday Walk

Well it is dull, damp and gloomy here again
(nothing new there you might say!)
so instead of sitting indoors we put on the walking shoes and off we went!
Charlie loves a walk but is not too good on the lead and likes to pull and drag us in every direction!
You certainly get exercise when you are with him!
~~~~~~
Isn't it amazing the things you see everyday
thatyou never notice until someone points out
how wonderful they are,
like this thatched cottage
which is down the road from us.
The rosehips are flourishing with all the rain!
The farmers have been busy at work -
These two didn't seem to mind the grey skies and the raindrops
and this one was busily comping away!
 We saw a little bird house nestling in the trees -
Charlie stopped for a drink
All of a sudden the rain started again so there was nothing for it but to head home.
Sounds like you had a good walk. Charlie is a lovely looking dog.
I think when you take pictures you are always looking for something new - I now think to myself that would make a decent photo.
Fiona what beauty you have captured in your walk with Charlie! It is fun to see all the treasures we can find when we stop and look and others show us. CK girl is good at that too. Though our walking days seem to be behind us though. I do so miss them. I did go for a walk the other night with a friend. Was lovely!
Ah rosehips - I think we used to do something mean with the powder when we were children - I think it made itching powder! Charlie is gorgeous and you live in beautiful countryside - the cottage is lovely!
As long as you're dressed for the elements a walk with a dog is always rewarding (and a hot shower afterwards is always welcome!)
Charlie is one gorgeous dog!! You took some great photos whilst you were out for your walk. I find that, since I've been blogging, I'm always on the look out for a good photo. Let's hope we both get some sunshine soon - not much sign of it at the moment, and it really is quite chilly! :(
Ohhhhh Fiona, how I'd love to share a walk like yours! Lovely indeed and I think a misting rain would only add to its beauty!
