A huge thank you.......

for two awards that I received recently.
I received the Tell me about yourself award from Claudia.

Claudia has a lovely blog called The Story and I am so glad that I got to know her through blogging.  She is a lovely person and I always enjoy reading about her life.  Pop over and visit Claudia and you will be glad that you did.

I also received the
from the lovely Izdiher
Izdiher lives in Pakistan and has a wonderful blog full of interesting details about life in her country.  Visit her and I know you will enjoy her writing.

The terms of these awards are such that I must tell you 7 things about myself and then pass the award onto 15 other bloggers.

Well here goes for the 7 things about me.....

I work with children with special needs.

I drive a silver car
which never seems to have any petrol!

I am not afraid of spiders, or snakes
but rats or mice make me feel faint with fear.

I wear make up everyday and wouldn't go outside withut lipstick

Even though I give out about the rain, I find the sound of it very soothing.

My favourite scents are citrus, lemons, oranges, and lime, Y-U-M

I would love to live near the sea and wake up every morning to a view of the ocean.

Thank you so much Izdiher and Claudia for the awards and although I would dearly love to pass them on, it is impossible to pick winners from the blogs that I follow because all of your blogs are truely special to me and I love reading each and every one of them and I couldn't pick just 15!

It has been lovely to be a recipient of these special tokens and I am so grateful to you both.

Congratulations on getting two awards. You really do deserve them both as you have a lovely blog.
You know my car never seems to have petrol in it either. Do you have teenagers driving it, I think that is the reason I never have any lol.

Congratulations and it's great to get to know you better. I also wanted to let you know I put a link to your blog from mine as my posting is about plants with orange berries and your last post inspired it :O)

You know what? We are very similar, except I drive a red car :) And I don't work with children but engineers, which sometimes is very similar. Thank you for your kind words!

I hadn't realized that you work with special needs are gifted indeed!

And I would also love to live by the sea; I keep my bedroom window open on a rainy night so it will soothe me as a fall over to sleep!

Congratulations on your awards Fiona, very well deserved! It was lovely to find out some more things about you, the lipstick one made me smile. Many thanks for your comments on Halloween. I was kind of hoping to get away with just a pumpkin this year, but my daughter is having none of it. The rain has finally stopped today...thank God! Oh I think the sun is trying to make an appearance, hooray! My little neice is doing great, although sis is a bit knackered, thanks for asking. Hope all is well with you, and that you are getting a little sunshine today too! Much love Linda x

Fiona - this is one post everybody seems to be in complete agreement with - no one wants to out live their usefulness. I am no exception.
