Yellow Wellies

I bought these pretty flowery wellies last
Autumn
and I have worn them in the garden many times.

I haven't been brave enough to wear them into town but they are lovely and bright and cheery!!!

I added some cones and some pretty tartan ribbon and think they will look good as Halloween  decorations

Yellows
Where is the time going?
The weeks are flying by and there really does'nt seem to be enough hours in a day?
Is it just me??
I am constantly trying to keep up with all of your blogs and probably failing badly
but over the next few weeks I will try harder (promise)!

Autumn Fires
In the other gardens
And all up the vale,
From the autumn bonfires
See the smoke trail!

Pleasant summer over
And all the summer flowers,
The red fire blazes,
The grey smoke towers.

Sing a song of seasons!
Something bright in all!
Flowers in the summer,
Fires in the fall!

Też mam zamiar kupić takie kolorowe śniegowce, bo mi się podobają. Oprócz ogródka będę w nich chodziła do lasu na grzyby. Pozdrawiam

Time rushes much too quickly for me these days...it's gone before I know it.

Now I LOVE those boots. I do hope one of these days you will pluck up courage and wear them into town..but for now? You've jazzed them up and made a lovely display to warm your home...who could resist smiling when seeing these outside your door??

I love your Wellies and would wear them into town in a flash! You would be quite the star! With that said they make really unique and delightful Halloween and Autumn decorations. How clever of you, Fiona!

I love your pretty, bright Wellies, too and love how you've incorporated them into the delightful tableau! And, yes, I am in exactly the same spot. Time just flies by and I'm battling to stay afloat with everything! So much so, I have been considering taking a sabbatical from blogging.

Your boots are cheerful and fun. If I were you, I'd take them out for a spin around town. You'll be envy of everyone's eye. Beautiful way to decorate the porch with them too. How come I never come up with interesting ideas like that? LOL Take care.

Your boots look great all decorated,Fiona.
I know what you mean about keeping up with blogs. It seems a tricky thing to do and I'm trying to catch up with comments now. I'm always happy whenever "Raindrops and Daisies" appears on my blog!
Wear those boots to town; they're bound to give a smile to someone!

SOOO cute! I like them used in decorating, too! I have an aqua pair with pink flowers. Didn't think to photograph them like you did, though! Maybe come spring when my color scheme will be more appropriate. andrea@townandprairie

No, it's not just you, Fiona, time is flying by me too, especially at this time of the year when we want to slow it down because it's all so beautiful. Even on days when I'm not rushing about, I still find there aren't enough hours to take in all that I want to take in and to dream about all that I want dream.
Love your wellies and the way you adorned them. SO pretty. Love the poem too.
Always so good to stop by, my dear. Enjoy your day. Cease the moment before it passes by...and I'll do the same. ;)
Much love.
