this week was all about......

feeling under the weather and confined to the house, so much housework to be done but no energy to do it,
maybe tomorrow.....

when feeling cold and fluey you need to be warm and close to the heat....

Flicking through glossy magazines passed some time, lots of lovely recipes and fashion, hmmm maybe now that I'm not eating I might drop a size!!!

but being stuck indoors is no fun so .....

it was great to see  a blue sky today which makes a change!

The farmer across the road has started to plough his field, he will plant it soon with wonderful wheat and barley and we will look forward to a good crop and lots of haystacks in Summer.

The flower bulbs have started to bloom.....

I started to knit a wrap for myself

and it was Valentines day on Tuesday and my lovely husband gave me some lovely flowers.

I hope that you have all had a good week

Oh I'm sorry you are not feeling well, there is a lot of it going about at the moment. I hope you feel better soon.
I think we are all needing some heat, sun and bright colours.
Spring shouldn't be too long.
Take care of yourself.

Sorry you were under the weather:( Your pictures are quite lovely though! The first one with the doggie stretched out by the fire made me laugh because I have one that looks a lot like yours stretched out here in front of me. Golden Retriever? Mine is a white English Retriever...same breed, different color. Lots of vacuuming!

Hope you feel better soon!
Blessings,
Charlotte

Ahhh... cuddling by the fire. I miss having an operable fireplace. We really need to get the damper replaced because it's stuck. A damper that doesn't open is not good! Get well soon, andrea@townandprairie

I hope you’re feeling better now. I know how blue sky affects our emotion. Even in the intense cold, if only I’m bathed in the sunshine, or if only I can see even a few patches of the blue sky, I’m happy and enjoy going out. The bouquet with the passionate red roses and white gypsophila is gorgeous and lovely.

Hi Fiona. As you can see, I've managed to sneak over to see you today! I would like to thank you for still popping over to see me, and leaving a comment, even though I can't get around very much at the moment :( I was so sorry to hear that you've been feeling poorly, and I do hope that you are feeling a little brighter again now. Isn't it wonderful when we see the blue sky like that?! Loved the photo of the dog getting nice and warm by the fire. You're lucky like me, to be surrounded by fields like that. Take care my friend, and keep warm.
