{Green Day 16}

Welcome to Green Day week 16.

Thanks to all of you who have participated in the link up over the last few weeks.
It  is lovely to view your lovely photographs and is a great way of meeting new blog friends.
I hope that you all enjoy it as much as I do!

Well it has been a very wet and cold week here in Ireland
my washing pile is as big as the Alps and the motor of my poor drier is struggling to cope!

However, when I looked out my bedroom window on Wednesday
while the rain lashed and the wind howled, I thought the countryside looked beautiful.

and so for Green Day...

The object of the link up
is to post a photograph of something green.
The photos can be of anything you like
once they have a green theme,
green fields, pretty green things, green clothes,
green leaves, green foods,
anything at all that takes your fancy!
I hope that you will join in the fun.

the boring bit...

1.   Please do not post anything that may be deemed offensive to others.
2.   Only post material that belongs to you.
3.   Please link back to Raindrops and Daisies

Rain gives the countryside such a lovely vibrant fresh look, I agree. There is also a lovely smell to the air too. Your picture shows this wonderful freshness.
I can wait for rain though! I'm getting out to walk in the sun for now! Have a wonderful weekend. Sandra

Hi Fiona. Well, the countryside is certainly looking VERY green, that's for sure, after all the rain we had throughout the summer. It really has turned chilly, hasn't it. Part of me doesn't mind it too much when the dark evenings are here, because it's all nice and cosy inside and I light the candles. I don't mind it too much at the moment, because we have Christmas to look forward to. It's January and February that I don't like!! Take care.
