Shadow Shot Sunday

A lovely tree in the garden casting it's shadow -

It is my first time joining up with others for shadow photographs so hope that this is ok!

I am sitting here imagining how big and full and rich and sturdy that shadow will look 100 years from now.

IF SHADOWS

If shadows could jump,
How high would they go?
As high as the moon?
Does anyone know?

If shadows could weep,
How long would they cry?
As long as it takes
To climb to the sky?

If shadows could laugh
And tell funny jokes
Would you take them home
And say, “Get this, folks!”?

If shadows could wed,
Would they prefer you
Or somebody else
To promise, “I do”?

I saw you mentioned on Sush's blog and so I stopped by. Love the shadow picture.
I've been taking pictures for years, but I still don't feel like I'm very good at it.
I'll be back.

I love how shadows can sometimes be as beautiful as the real item. Your shadow tree is lovely.

Hi Fiona. That photo looks good to me! You've caught the shadow just right. I love the colour of the leaves on that tree. It looks very peaceful there.

I recently got a DSRL camera and am learing how to use it. I am your newest follower so I can see what you are photographing and learn from you!
