For Today
Outside my window it is about 17 degrees and cloudy.
Has summer forgotten us here in Ireland?
I am thinking I really should get up from this computer and take in my washing from the line.
I am thankful that myself and my family are all in good health and happy.
In the kitchen roast chicken, roast potatoes and veggies.
I am wearing turquoise crossover top, grey trousers and flipflops
I am going to my son's girlfriend's 21st party on Saturday night.
I am wondering what will I wear?
I am reading a copy of the latest Prima magazine
I am hoping that we will have sunny weather for the rest of the summer.
I am looking forward to my husband coming home tomorrow after being away for the last 6 days.
I am hearing the noisy game that my son is playing on xbox
Around the house big tidy up tomorrow when I feel in form for it. It's a bit late to start now!
I am pondering should I have bought that dress in Wallis today?
One of my favorite things. .. sitting in my garden in the evenings with a glass of wine.
A few plans for the rest of the week: do a bit of planting and tidying over in the garden, sort out the patio area as it is very overcrowded, ironing, washing. Try and finish the knitted teddy I started.....
Here is picture for thought I am sharing

I have friends who are missionaries in Ireland and are loving it. I’ve never been to Europe at all, but I love the temperatures you’re sharing. Ha. We’re at 98 F today in Alabama in the U.S. Thanks for sharing your Daybook.
I love that -- Wine Snob -- sounds like me!! And yes, I've heard you've been having terrible weather over there...my best friend lives in Belfast (my husband's father was from that area), so I hope it improves and you get the chance to sit in your garden in the evening, enjoying some of that wine!
Didn't get to sit in the garden this evening Sherry but maybe tomorrow.............
Imagine your best friend lives in Belfast - small world! Enjoy your sunshine!
Lisa, I don't think I could cope with 98F
but late 70s would be ideal!
Maybe someday you will get to Europe and visit Ireland, it really is beautiful.

Glad your hubby is coming home soon!
Sorry it's so cold there. That stinks. I'd be glad to send you some of our excessive heat your way! This was a fun post.
