Strawberry Pot but not................

I had this strawberry pot lying around for ages so decided that instead of planting it with strawberries I would plant it up with blue pansies and violas.
They cost very very little and I think it looks really pretty and has lasted for months.

Might try white plants next time!

Breathtakingly gorgeous! I plant succulents in my strawberry pot..jade at the top, smaller ones in the pockets. They love it!

I'm going to get another strawberry pot to try with the pansies and violas...I LOVE what you've done!

These are beautiful. My stepdaughter has done this with strawberry pots and it came out beautiful. White would look great with the blue too. Great idea.

I have just been pottering around your blog and I love it. Love the blue in the strawberry pot, but I am biased when it comes to blue.

I am a new follower from the Monday Mingle blog hop. I love the rain and daisies are my favourite flower so how could I resist popping in!

I love the blues - have always been partial to pansies and violas, although the latter seem to grow like weeds once they've found a place they like.

That's very pretty indeed. I love the rich blues and almost purples.
Our strawberry pot didn't grow strawberries very well and eventually fell to pieces (it wasn't frost-resistant!)

what a great idea! The blues are so beautiful and are my favorite color. I hope to be able to have pansies. Too hot here now. My flowers are struggling now so I am certainly enjoying yours.
