time please don't go by so quickly....

as+ I seem to be constantly chasing after you. trying to play catchup.

December is almost upon us,
so much to do and yet the days are running away from me...

Is it just me....

Today was a beautiful Winters day
so myself, hubby and son out for a walk.

The sky was a magnificent shade of blue and the church seemed to bask in its glory.

We passed this gorgeous house on the way

All the lovely beech trees have become brown and withered but they still look good
and the garden is almost bare as
my lovely blooms have long disappeared,
except for one or two.

A lonesome rose

last of the hydrangeas,
the rest are brown and mushy after being hit by frost last week.
and my favourite which reminds me
of summer and has me looking forward  to things to come

Pogoda była piękna i spacer pewno był udany. Dom zauważony po drodze śliczny. Na ogród musimy poczekać do przyszłego roku :-(. Pozdrawiam

I know exactly what you are talking about! Me too I am praying that these beautiful, magic days do not go by so quickly! They should have double the hours as usual to really, really enjoy! However, let's try not chase around but do one thing after the other and from time to time sit down with a cup of tea and simply feel, breath and look at the moments. Thank for your thoughts and the wonderful photographs! xxx Christa

Oh the time goes by far to quickly for me. I can't believe it is the 1st December this week. How did that happen?
I loved your walk. A thatched roof - they are great. When I was a wee girl I used to want to live in a house with a thatched roof.
Your white flower is amazing - so bright.
Have a great week. :)

Hi Fiona,

We finally got some nice weather today.
I love that little house - just the type of house I'd want to have :)
Beautiful flowers - thank you so much for sharing.
Enjoy your evening!

Such a beautiful walk. Such a beautiful sky! I feel the same way about time. It spins by so fast! I feel like I took a walk with you and it was wonderful and filled me with hope for the summer that will come.

That little house is just so cute. You're so right about the time going by so quickly. I just don't know where this year has gone. It's quite frightening really. What a beautiful blue sky. It's been a lovely sunny day here in Devon today. In fact, we've had a lovely dry spell for the past few weeks, but they've given rain and gale force winds for this coming week. :(

Beautiful blue sky and that Irish green color of the grass! And the little white house - we don't have anything like that here. Have a good week, Fiona!

I love the thatched cottage - there aren't many of them round here, but there were ots of stunning ones that we coveted when we lived in Hampshire in the 80s.

I am sorry I have been so far behind in commenting - I was in Ohio all week. I'm home now.

That picture of that home is awesome - unusual too.

I try to like every season I am in just like you do.

Ooh, thank you for taking me along. Those pictures are so pretty.
Wondering if you're still having trouble seeing my google friend connect. That is so strange how it disappears like that. I see it from my end but I'm wondering if you do. Please let me know.

Beautiful pictures, very calming to look at. Thanks for stopping by my blog. You mentioned that you usually don't decorate until December 8, but the Christmas Blogger Block Party begins about December 5, hope you can participate. You may want to start decorating right away. :)

I am always a little sad to watch the trees become bare. It's like saying goodnight to everything green and pretty as leaves and flowers disappear for a long winter's nap. But I guess everything can use a time of rest.

Your pictures are lovely!

I am glad you arrived safely at work! Sometimes one just has to take it's time whether it is the ice or a park for instance. Thank you very, very much for your kind words it is so nice to be your friend. May I ask you where abouts in Ireland you live? In 1981 I spent a holiday in Ireland and I once had an Irish boyfriend. Somehow it was in another life back in 1980. Last year we exchanged our house with someone from Belfast who lives in Spain now. I love the Irish accent a lot. Enjoy your weekend! Christa
