as+ I seem to be constantly chasing after you. trying to play catchup.
December is almost upon us,
so much to do and yet the days are running away from me...
Is it just me....
Today was a beautiful ❤ Winters day
so myself, hubby and son out for a walk.
The sky was a magnificent shade of blue and the church seemed to bask in its glory.
We passed this gorgeous ❤ house on the way
All the lovely beech trees have become brown and withered but they still look good
and the garden is almost bare as
my lovely blooms have long disappeared,
except for one or two.
A lonesome rose ❤
last of the hydrangeas,
the rest are brown and mushy after being hit by frost last week.
and my favourite which reminds me
of summer and has me looking forward to things to come
❤❤❤

beautiful walk around! love the thatched roof on that home!
Such beauty has to be enjoyed! It's great to see you here, again.
Pogoda była piękna i spacer pewno był udany. Dom zauważony po drodze śliczny. Na ogród musimy poczekać do przyszłego roku :-(. Pozdrawiam
So many pretty things and places. Enjoyed the tour!
I know exactly what you are talking about! Me too I am praying that these beautiful, magic days do not go by so quickly! They should have double the hours as usual to really, really enjoy! However, let's try not chase around but do one thing after the other and from time to time sit down with a cup of tea and simply feel, breath and look at the moments. Thank for your thoughts and the wonderful photographs! xxx Christa
Oh the time goes by far to quickly for me. I can't believe it is the 1st December this week. How did that happen?
I loved your walk. A thatched roof - they are great. When I was a wee girl I used to want to live in a house with a thatched roof.
Your white flower is amazing - so bright.
Have a great week. :)
Hi Fiona,
We finally got some nice weather today.
I love that little house - just the type of house I'd want to have :)
Beautiful flowers - thank you so much for sharing.
Enjoy your evening!
Hugs x
Such a beautiful walk. Such a beautiful sky! I feel the same way about time. It spins by so fast! I feel like I took a walk with you and it was wonderful and filled me with hope for the summer that will come.
That little house is just so cute. You're so right about the time going by so quickly. I just don't know where this year has gone. It's quite frightening really. What a beautiful blue sky. It's been a lovely sunny day here in Devon today. In fact, we've had a lovely dry spell for the past few weeks, but they've given rain and gale force winds for this coming week. :(
Beautiful blue sky and that Irish green color of the grass! And the little white house - we don't have anything like that here. Have a good week, Fiona!
Lovely photos indeed. . . and the thatched roof . . I like!
Fiona, Thanks for taking us along on your walk. Your photos are beautiful. Love the thatched roof.
Have a great week.

No, it's not just you--time seems to "fly by" for all of us. Lovely photos--some of summer's glory is still around! Have a great week. Mickie ;)
I am so in love with that house--it looks like something from a fairy tale!
That is a fantastic house. WOW! I also love the crunchy brown leaves : )
Lovely photos. Love the thatched building. Yes time is flying by.
Hi Fiona! Gorgeous photos! I can't believe it is only 27 days to Christmas!! So much to do! Have a lovely week:)

I love the thatched cottage - there aren't many of them round here, but there were ots of stunning ones that we coveted when we lived in Hampshire in the 80s.
gorgeous pictures! here no flowers at the moment... but the winter came and gone after a couple of days... its unbelievable! almost Desember and the grass is green again!!!
I am sorry I have been so far behind in commenting - I was in Ohio all week. I'm home now.
That picture of that home is awesome - unusual too.
I try to like every season I am in just like you do.

Ooh, thank you for taking me along. Those pictures are so pretty.
Wondering if you're still having trouble seeing my google friend connect. That is so strange how it disappears like that. I see it from my end but I'm wondering if you do. Please let me know.
Beautiful pictures, very calming to look at. Thanks for stopping by my blog. You mentioned that you usually don't decorate until December 8, but the Christmas Blogger Block Party begins about December 5, hope you can participate. You may want to start decorating right away. :)
Beautiful photos! Love your bright colors! Thanks for sharing JoAnn
What a beautiful blog you have. Wonderful pictures and words. x
You have a lovely blog and that's why I follow it but also 'cause my hubby is half irish and half welsh. Right down the middle. I love the irish in him.
Very lovely and ive never seen a roof like the one in your pictures. Richard
Your walk was lovely. Thanks for taking me along with your photos. Such a wonderful landscape to enjoy. No blooms left here. We had our first snowfall of the season today. Time is slipping into the future and we can't slow it down. LOL Take care.
How lovely. Your pictures make it hard to believe it's almost Christmas, Fiona! xo
Thank you for your visit friend!
I am so happy you have good weather for a nice change!!
Just think though..the sooner winter is over the sooner it will be spring!
Hugs,
Dana
Thanks so much for your comment! By the way I have added you on my "lovely blog" list. Wishing you a very happy Christmas time!
I am always a little sad to watch the trees become bare. It's like saying goodnight to everything green and pretty as leaves and flowers disappear for a long winter's nap. But I guess everything can use a time of rest.
Your pictures are lovely!
Hi Fiona! I've been on a blog holiday during the busy week of Thanksgiving and family birthdays! How delightful to return to such lovely photos!
Life is going way to fast for me these days, I'm so happy you had a chance to slow it down and enjoy the view!
Hugs~

Oh, isn't that house just gorgeous? All your photos are so lovely Fiona! Thanks for dropping by, happy Advent!!
What a lovely little house - it looks like it's built right into the landscape.
Just beautiful! Those leaves look as though they are made of gold.
Hi! Dearest Fiona,
So sorry for my belated comment.
Yes, my 2011 went by really fast as well since I started blogging, haha.
I loved the expression you used "bask in its glory" Thank you for sharing the Beautiful pictures♬♬♬
Blessing to you, xoxo Orchid*
I am glad you arrived safely at work! Sometimes one just has to take it's time whether it is the ice or a park for instance. Thank you very, very much for your kind words it is so nice to be your friend. May I ask you where abouts in Ireland you live? In 1981 I spent a holiday in Ireland and I once had an Irish boyfriend. Somehow it was in another life back in 1980. Last year we exchanged our house with someone from Belfast who lives in Spain now. I love the Irish accent a lot. Enjoy your weekend! Christa
