Another year...

Well Good Morning Friends
I hope that Christmas went well for all of you and would like to wish you all a very Happy 2013.

My goodness where does time go?  The older I get the quicker it passes..
We had a lovely Christmas here in Raindrops land.

We had red skies

We had blue skies

but most of all we had lots and lots of  Raindrops ...

I did lots of eating
I never seemed to leave this table...

I sat by this fire drinking wine...

I lazed on the sofa watching movies and eating chocolates...
I did a little walking
well
no I lie,
I only walked the fields at the back of the house

and now
I am ashamed to admit it  but I have put on 6lb over the last week or so
so I will be pounding the roads until next year trying to get rid of it!!
My jeans are snug and my tops even snugger!!

But isn't that what Christmas is all about!

I think that Oscar is glad it is all over
he was not impressed with his new Christmas hat
bought for him by lovely daughter
but today the sun is shining, the bulbs on the windowsill are budding

and because the sun is shining it is showing off all the dust..
I started cleaning my dresser, it took me forever but at least one part of the kitchen has had a springclean!
I bought myself some pretty plates in the sales

and so another year has begun.

Thank you all for your wonderful friendship and support
I hope that 2013 will be a good one for all of us.

Gosh it is so long since I did a blog post that I published this one before I had even finished typing!

I thought those were Cath Kidston plates before I saw that they were in fact! They're gorgeous!

Oh yes to gaining weight over the holidays -- simply because we don't move about enough -- if we were more active I'm sure it wouldn't be as bad...so here is to refreshing and awakening walks that help to shift the new weight and clear our heads.

Glad to hear that your holidays were so lovely -- wishing you and yours a most spectacular 2013 with many pleasant surprises along the journey. xo

Dobrze, że Święta się skończyły i już się nie objadasz, bo byś się nie zmieściła w spodnie. Oczywiście żartuję. Czy dostałaś od Mikołaja nowego laptopa ? Myślę, że tak :). Życzę dobrego 2013 roku i pozdrawiam.
Well, the holidays are over and I do not overeat, because you would not fit in my pants. Of course, I'm joking. Did you get a new laptop from Santa Claus? I think so :). Have a good 2013 and greet.

Poor Oscar - he certainly looks a bit fed up with his lovely outfit.
I had the same dust problem today, the sun is so bright but low in the sky that every little cobweb and bit of fluff was showing. I just decided to forget about it until I feel like starting on the big spring clean.
Glad you have sorted your computer.

A "few extras" crept on me in the past days too . . . I am promising mmyself not to complain as I remember how much I enjoyed each and every morsel.

It sounds as if you have had a lovely festive period. I too feel as if I've put on some weight - but you are right that's what this time of year is for, isn't it???
I LOVE Tinkerbell's quote - so true :)))
I must get out and take some 'green' pictures for green day.

I was happy your post popped up, Fiona. It looks like a bit of "Sense and Sensibility" was on your movie list; fine choice!

Your lovely ornament is now safely packed away until next Christmas. Perhaps I can link my current post to your Green Day so that everyone knows it went to a good home. There are some balsam fir needles there, if that's enough green to get me into the gathering!

Thanks for your nice words on my post today!
