Had a lovely lunch today with my daughter in Avoca Dream Weavers
Avoca hand weave at the original Mill in the lovely village of Avoca, at the Meeting of the Waters in County Wicklow.
They have been in business for over 300 years.
Their rugs, throws, blankets and scarves are all natural fibres - 100% pure new lambswool, mohair, cashmere and angora and are just to die for!!!

Here are some of the lovely throws we saw today
They were all so beautiful that it would be difficult to chose just one!
Aren't the colours fantastic?
They sell their homemade produce too.
We bought a couple of pots just to test and some of their nutty brown bread!!

Look at the display of beautiful cups and teapots
We had a lovely day and I think the message on their bag says it all!

What gorgeous throws - beautiful colours!! I like the saying on the carrier bag - maybe we all need to try harder to find the good in everything!
Glad you had a lovely day out with your daughter. A great selection of throws and I love the pottery.
Such a wonderful shopping area. The throws are so beautiful. So many colors. One would want to purchase each one.
Thanks you nice visit and comments. I am joyfully following your beautiful blog. Ginger
Those throws are gorgeous - soft, light, warm - wonderful:-)
Your photos are lovely. It's hard to leave without Avoca goods as they are so beautifully presented - I wish they'd sell more online.
What a lovely place to go...such beautiful throws...I'd be afraid to use them and get them dirty.
So many rich beautiful colours...I'd never be able to choose just one of any of these great items!
Wonderful! I haven't been to that Avoca yet. Glad you had a lovely time, hope you went to the cafe? Many thanks for your lovely comments. Sorry I upset you with talk of Autumn, but don't worry, cos when the kids go back to school the weather always brightens up! Have a great weekend, love Linda x
What a gorgeous shop. The colors in the photos are some of my favorite combinations. The throws caught my eye.
Thanks for dropping by my 3 in 30...your words were encouraging. Hope all is well with you and the weekend brings more fun and inspiration :)

Such lovely things, and what a wonderful place to do some serious browsing. Strangely enough, another of my bloggy friends who also lives in Ireland did a post on Avoca a couple of weeks ago. It certainly does look like a fantastic place!
Diane.
Fiona, I tried again. I followed on the link at the top bar and on your side bar. I don't know if they are the same. Please let me know if you don't see it. I sometimes but rarely have a problem with the follow procedure. Thanks for telling me. Have a great weekend.
