I am so sorry for your loss, I am with you!
I am so sorry for the pain you are carrying inside after losing this obviously very special and dear person under such tragic circumstances, Fiona. The hardest part of losing someone in this way is never having answers to the many questions with which those left behind, are left. Sending you loving hugs to comfort you in your time of sadness.

It is not recent, it is a couple of years ago now.
A friends brother took his own life at the weekend and I am feeling so awful for her and reliving what happened to my own lovely brother
and just feeling very sad today.

unfortunatelly not everybody is so good in asking help... and sometimes its so difficult to help anybody who don`t admit they want help. i think by being nice to people in general, one manages at least not to cause them more sorrow or truble...
... and while i wrote this i got realy alarmed so i read the other comments.

I came back to see if you'd commented yourself...I am so sorry to hear that your friend's brother has recently suffered the same fate as your own brother!...what a great tragedy, yet how comforting for her to have you to lean on...you, who will understand exactly what she is going through! I wish you both strength.

Know where you are coming from. My brother experiences severe depression, can't work, and has been on the brink a couple times. It rips the family apart b/c some people in the family don't believe in professional help. In the end, though, they really can't help it. Just pray. Keep praying for their souls every day. andrea@townandprairie

The words in the poem were so eloquent, but simple, that they moved me to tears. The WHY of such things is never understood. It is hard to think of such a tragic loss. But forgetting would be so much worse. Take care of yourself.

I am reading this again and feeling sad for your friend in the sudden trajic death of her brother and now as Ii read your comments, I am doubly sad to feel your loss in the death of your brother.
