We are having glorious weather here
It is so wonderful to see blue skies
and happy sunny faces.

I love eating outdoors, lots of salads and grills
and a glass or two of chilled wine
well what could be nicer?

It's BBQ time so hubby gets to cook -
he thinks he's great -
actually he isn't that great at all
he thinks he's great -
actually he isn't that great at all
but I let him think he is
because I certainly don't want to cook
when it's so sunny out there!

We women are very smart.
My pink Osteospernums are out and look so pretty.
One person who is no too happy with the warmer weather is Charlie
as he is used to windy, rainy, cooler weather
don't worry Charlie I'm sure our good spell won't last too long!

Because the temps have improved I have got out of my socks
I bought this lovely polish for the tootsies, pretty isn't it?

I wanted to get a few plants for the garden and
while driving there I passed this field

who wouldn't feel happy looking at this?
At the garden centre I met a few strangers
Let' hope they are right!
Wishing you all a wonderful sunny weekend.

Happy Saturday Fiona. Your post just made me smile this morning. So bright and cheerful. We just had a severe thunderstorm go through but things are supposed to improve as the day goes on.
What are the flowers in that beautiful yellow field?
Have a great weekend.
Wonderful! We have had a gorgeous weather today, too. I just came in after staying outside for hours, I planted a cherry tree and two apple trees. Now I just have to keep my fingers crossed for them! :)
(And I must say I'll be having a glass or two of that chilled wine, too, after such hard work!)
It's really hot and sunny here as well.
Those sculptures at the garden centre are great .. I love the gorilla!

Masz rację, niech mąż myśli, że jest świetnym kucharzem, a Ty podziwiaj swoje kwiatki i odpoczywaj.Pozdrawiam.
You're right, let the husband thinks he is a great cook, and you admire your flowers and relax. Yours.

Hi! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and joining! I'm now your newest member. :)
I just love food from the grill. My hubby loves grilling out too. I don't mind not cooking. LOL! I just love that polish...such a gorgeous and fun color! I usually have my tootsies with a fun color for spring and summer. :) My nails are usually a french or american manicure or maybe just a light pink. I may have to check out Revlon's newest colors. Your puppy dog is just adorable! I have three pups! Have a fantastic weekend!
Marie :)
Your post made me laugh out loud. "We women are very smart." I wish I could hear your adorable Irish lilt when you say that! :-)
Thank you for your sweet words the other day. xoxo

Yes this is a great time when men take over the cooking. Beautiful flower photos.
Hello Fiona, I hope you enjoyed your lovely weekend - it's always beaut to welcome the sunny warm weather once again. Love the apron ;D)... and those pretty daisies. They always seem to have a smile on their faces don't they!
We're facing down Winter now but, even though its much cooler now, I still enjoy watching the changes in the garden.
Lovely to read your posts and good cheer to you :D)
LOVED those lovely creatures you saw at the garden centre. Your flowers are pretty as can be. You are lucky your hubby LIKES to grill. Mine can't stand being outside. Such a shame. Hope this season is full of wonderful afternoos for you. take care.
Poor Charlie and lucky you. I hope you'll have lots of sunny wonderful summer days this year - and I hope that for us too ; )
